Ganesh Himal / Singla Pass Trek

Ganesh Himal Singla Pass trek is slightly longer trek thru the region takes you over the Singla Pass to a more remote area and thru Laba, the highest village in the Dhading District. Depending on your interests, there are two finishes to the route, which can also be customized to suit your preferences and your schedule.
With the first option, you will visit the historical town of Gorkha, which is the ancestral home of the renowned “Gorkha Warriors”, who fought bravely in many of the world’s major wars. Gorkha is also significant, as before the 1740’s, it was a small independent nation with its own king, Prithivi Naryan Shah. The king was able to unite several small kingdoms into one, which became modern Nepal.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1345meters). Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu and will be displaying with DOLPA ADVENTURE TREKS AND TOURS signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel . Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley : Optional In the morning of after breakfast at around 8 am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your tour in Nepal. After the meeting and a hearty breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at around 9:45am. Sightseeing places will be : Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swoyambhunath stupa and Kathmandu durbar square. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. The rest of your time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3 Kathmandu drive to Trishuli Bazaar and Trek to Salankhu Khola. From Kathmandu drive to Trisuli Bazaar (540m/5 to 6 hrs.) . Trek to Salankhu Khola (1250m/3 hrs.). Overnight at Salankhu Khola.
Day 4 Salankhu Khola Trek to Balche village (2020m/5 to 6 hrs.). Today begins with an easy walk and then short climb to follow a ridge westward. After lunch we climb steadily, following the Chalakhung Khola (river), crossing many streams and passing through small villages along the way. Overnight at Balche Village.
Day 5 Balche Trek to Gonga (3600m/5 to 6 hrs.),. The trek passes through rhododendron forests, which are an amazing sight when in bloom. At Gonga we will have our first views of the mighty Himalayan mountains. Overnight at Gonga.
Day 6 Gonga Trek to Rupchet (4040m/ 5 hrs.) After an easy day’s trek through rhododendron and pine forests, we camp at Rupchet. For those with sufficient energy, you can trek to Singla Pass (4045m) to see an unforgettable sunset panorama. Overnight at Rupchet.
Day 7 Rupchet Trek to Kharka (2500m/7 to 8 hrs.) via Singla pass (4400m). This is the hardest day of the trek, as it goes over the Singla pass. At the pass, you will see spectacular views of the nearby mountains such as Ganesh Himal, Machhapuchare, Annapurna South, Annapurna II and Langtang Lirung. Overnight at Kharka.
Day 8 Kharka Trek to Serthung village (2050m/5 to 6 hrs.). Descend through pine and rhododendron forests to Serthung, a pleasant Tamang village. Overnight at Serthung Village.
Day 9 Sherthung Trek to Laba (2470m/ 6 hrs.). Today we head to Laba, the highest village in the Dhading district. The trail is an easy descent, passing through Barang village and then crossing the Akhu Khola River before reaching the picturesque Tamang village. Overnight at Laba.
Day 10 Laba Trek to Mongyethanti (2000m/4 to 5 hrs.). The trek today climbs gently over a hill and then descends through pleasant forest to the camp, where you can enjoy good views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. Overnight at Mongyethanti.
Day 11 Mongyethanti Trek to Dumchet (1700m/4 to 5 hrs.). Another easy day of gentle descent through forests, with nice views of Manaslu along the way. Overnight at Dumchet.
Day 12 Dumchet Trek to Budhigandaki, (1200m/4 to 5 hrs.). Today’s trek is a pleasant a gradual walk today to Baseri and camp near by the Budhigandaki River. Overnight at Budhigandaki.
Day 13 Budhigandaki Trek to Arughat, (700m/hrs.). The route today follows the banks of the Budhigandaki River, ending at the interesting market town of Arughat. Overnight in Arughat.
Day 14 Arughat – Kathmandu We will drive back to Kathmandu from Arughat around 7 hours drive. O/N in Kathmandu.
Day 15 Free day in Kathmandu. Today, Pax have their own free time in Kathmandu for their final shopping and packing. O/N in Kathmandu
Day 16 Departure to final destination. Morning time is free in Kathmandu and afternoon will transfer to airport for the final destination.
