Experience trekking to five holy lakes through untouched traditional villages in impressive Himalayan landscapes. Trekking to Panch Pokhari at the base of Jungal Himal offers pure mountain views, rich culture and true adventure. This area, northeast of Kathmandu offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, incomparable beauty and biological diversity. we will trek to a group of high elevation holy lakes, sacred to Buddhist and Hindu people. Trekkers first pass through by bus to Chautara, five hours northeast of Kathmandu towards the Tibet border. We walk through a mixture of beautiful mountain scenery and the terraced fields and characteristic houses of rural villages from different ethnic groups on our first night.We will experience life in the village homes of Sherpa and Tamang people and our guide will give a short information regarding to trekking, altitude sickness and the tourist attractions of the trek. These include the holy Five Lakes, the incredible Himalayan panorama and the life style of nomadic people unchanged by time. The unusual climatic and geographical mix make this area a naturalist’s dream and a Mecca for those who appreciate traditional cultures. This trek starts from 1,400 m and goes up to 4,000m at Panch Pokhari, a seldom visited pilgrimage site where the Janaipurnima festival is held in August. Many Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages visit this site every year. This is one of the best stunning and sacred Trek.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1345meters). Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu and will be displaying with DOLPA ADVENTURE TREKS AND TOURS signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel . Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley : Optional In the morning of after breakfast at around 8 am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your tour in Nepal. After the meeting and a hearty breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at around 9:45am. Sightseeing places will be : Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swoyambhunath stupa and Kathmandu durbar square. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. The rest of your time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3 Kathmandu to Chautara (1215m): Drive from Kathmandu to Chautara,it takes 5/6 hours. Overnight at Chautara.
Day 4 Trek form Chautara to Phurse (2035m): Walking about 5 and ½ hours From Chautara to Phurse, Walking hour about 5 and half hour. We will walking through the many villages,farming terraces, some green hills and marvelous mountain views of Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa. the trails go quite way upto Phurse. Phurse is a pasture where people from villages bring their domestic animals for grazing and it is a small village mainly occupied by Tamang. Overnight at Phurse.
Day 5 Trek from Phurse to Kami Kharka( 2845m): Walking hour about 5/6 hours. We will through the forest covered with Oak, Pine,rhododendron and other natural vegetation, We will walk mostly up hill till Kami Kharka,on the way we can enjoy the impressive views of Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa and Jugal Himal range. Overnight at Kami Kharka.
Day 6 Kami Kharka to Pauwa Bas (3025m.): Walking hour about 5/6 hours. We will walking through the forest which covered with rhododendron, Oak, Pine, Juniper& other natural vegetation, we will reach in Phurwa Bas which is a shelter for the local pilgrims. mostly walk up hills. Overnight at Pauwa Bas.
Day 7 Pauwa Bas to Hille Bhanjyang (3435m.): Walking hour approximately 5/6hours. The route up to Hille Bhanjyang goes uphill passing through forests enriched with bamboo, pine, oak, rhododendron and alpine vegetation. Hille Bhanjyang is a ridge from where we will see the superb views of waterfall, river basin and village at a far distance. Overnight at Hille Bhanjyang.
Day 8 Hile Bhanjyang to Nasim Pati (3715m.): Walking hour about 4 /5and hours. we will walk uphill until we reach to Nasim Pati. in route, we encounter forests with views of Jugal Himal range, Gaurishankar, mountain deer ,Danfe, National bird of Nepal . Overnight at Nasim Pati.
Day 9 Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari (4110m.): Walking hour approximately 4/5 hours. The route is steeply ascent passing through Lauribinayak Pass to Panch Pokhari. On the way, we are amazed to see the alpine vegetation and rocky mountains, wild life and villages at a far distance. Panch Pokhari is the major point of the trek. Five lakes are called PanchPokhari in Nepali. There are interesting festivals in August called Janaipurnima. Many Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages gather here. The top of Panch Pokhari (5 lakes) offers an admirable view of Jugal Himal range, Rolwaling range, Gosainkunda Overnight at Panch Pokhari.
Day 10 Pancha Pokhari to Nasim Pati (3725m.): Warking hours approximately 3/4hours. While trekking back move through steeply descent path passing Lauribinayak Pass. The forests we encounter are quite rich in alpine vegetation. Overnight at Nasim Pati.
Day 11 Nasim Pati to Dukhang (2100m.): Walking hour approximately about 5/6 hours. The trail goes down passing through forests covered with bamboos, rhododendron, pine, oak, juniper and other natural vegetation.We will see Himalayan deer, white monkey and many others if we are lucky. Before we reach Dukhang, we come across chortens , prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Dukhang is a tiny village mainly occupied by Tamang, Sherpa people. Overnight at Dukhang.
Day 12 Dukhang to Dhap (1200m.): Walking hour approximately about 5/6 hours. After crossing Dukhang, we follow the descent path to reach Dhap. We walk along the bank of Indrawati river with wonderful views of farming terraces, human settlements, green hills and different activities of local people Overnight at Dhap.
Day 13 Dhap to Melamchi Bazaar (800m.): Walking hour approximately about 5/6 hours. The trail goes along the Indrawati River passing through different villages, farming terraces, hydro electricity project on the way to Tipini and vehicles carrying passengers and goods. Overnight at Melamchi Bazaar.
Day 14 Melamchi Bazaar to Kathmandu (1300m.): Drive to Kathmandu which takes about five hours. O/N in Kathmandu
Day 15 Free day in Kathmandu. Today, Pax have their own free time in Kathmandu for their final shopping and packing. O/N in Kathmandu
Day 16 Departure to final destination. Morning time is free in Kathmandu and afternoon will transfer to airport for the final destination.
