Rolwaling trek is excellent adventure trek for trekkers that wish to experience a lonely steep-walled high valley Rolwaling called as “the grave” by Sherpa indigenous peoples in Nepal. Rolwaling is rarely visited most attractive region in Nepal, established in the shade of the Rolwaling Himal. The remote Rolwaling valley, situated in the east of Kathmandu valley, offers lots of mountaineering challenging adventures. Rolwaling supposed to be a home of the notorious “Yeti”, yet to be confirmed by the researchers.
Trekkers often spend about two weeks in the Rolwaling area climbing to the Na Yak pastures at 4700m height. During the Rolwaling trek, tourists are greeted by a spectacular panorama of the Gauri Shanker Himal (7145m) and Melungtse peak (7181m). Starting from Charikot, the trail leads up along the Tamba Kosi River banks under the shadow of the Gauri Shanker Himal. Covering the mountain terrain of the Nepal-China (Tibet) border, the trail to this pass goes between huge mountains along glaciers.
Trekkers can view the most popular villages like Beding and its monastery (3690m) and Na Gaun (4120m) in Rolwaling trek. Above Na Gaun, the trail meanders up to a high lake called Chorolpa (4540m) and the lateral moraines of the Rolwaling glacier below the Rolwaling icefall (5181m).

|Day 1||Arrival in Kathmandu (1345meters). Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu and will be displaying with DOLPA ADVENTURE TREKS AND TOURS signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel . Overnight in Kathmandu.|
|Day 2||Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley : Optional In the morning of after breakfast at around 8 am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your tour in Nepal. After the meeting and a hearty breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at around 9:45am. Sightseeing places will be : Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swoyambhunath stupa and Kathmandu durbar square. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. The rest of your time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.|
|Day 3||Drive Katmandu to Dolakha (1650m) After breakfast, We will have about 7 hours drive from Kathmandu to Dolkha. Overnight at Dolakha.|
|Day 4||Trek Dolakha to Shigati (1020m). Work through scattered villages and terraces. The trail is very well defined and used by porters and shepherds. Overnight at Shigati.|
|Day 5||Trek Shigati to Gongar (1350m). Working through a Bhote koshi river, Pass a fir hamlets and villages working through a forest give you a chance to see a GauriShankar Himal (7145m). Overnight at Gongar.|
|Day 6||Trek Gongar to Simigaon (2020m). Today the path slowly gains altitude on an impressive slope, and later crosses terraces. Arrive at Simigaon a Sherpa village. Overnight at Simigaon.|
|Day 7||Trek Simigaon to Donga (2800m). From here trek to the Rolwaling valley, Working Through a gorgeous rhododendron forest; the path steadily climbs towards Gyalche. Eventually, we descend back down to the river and establish the campsite on the Rolwaling Khola. Overnight at Donga.|
|Day 8||Trek Donga to Beding (3690m). We will gradually climb the valley with good mountain scenery. We will visit the ochre colored Gompa at Beding, the largest village in the Valley. Overnight at Beding.|
|Day 9||Trek Beding to Na (4180m). A short walk will take us to Na. A tiny alpine hamlet only inhabited during summer months a majestic view of impressive peaks with Chobutse (6685m) and Chugimago (6259m). Overnight at Na.|
|Day 10||Na Acclimatization day. There will have a day rest for acclimatization before the Tashi Lapcha. We can have a rest or can do a Yalung la pass. Overnight at na.|
|Day 11||Trek Na to Nyiduk Kongma (4750m). Above Na Gaun, the trail meanders up to a high lake named Thso Rolpa (4540m) and up to the lateral moraines of the Rolwaling glacier. Overnight at Nyiduk.|
|Day 12||Trek Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau Glacier (5200m). We can trek to Drolumbau Glacier and overnight at Drolumbau Glacier.|
|Day 13||Trek Drolumbau Glacier to Tashi Lapsa passes (5755m) The Teshi Lapcha La goes through these mountains by the footslopes of Patchamo. The descent on the other side is steep and very rough through boulder fields. Overnight at Camp.|
|Day 14||Trek Camp to Thame (3800m). Cross river through ancient rhododendron, oak and pine forests interspersed with terraced fields adjoining the numerous villages of the region. Overnight at Thame.|
|Day 15||Trek Thame to Namche Bazar (3440m). We will trek to Namche from Thame. Overnight at Namche.|
|Day 16||Trek Namche to Lukla (2,850) The descent from Namche to the Dudh koshi can be the hardest stage of the entire trek. The trail descends over the ridge past rocky cliffs and scattered pines to the tiny village of Toktok. The trail drops steeply and runs level through out the day. Enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village arrival in Lukla. You'll have time to stroll around the local areas. Overnight at Lukla.|
|Day 17||Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu An early morning fly back to Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu.|
|Day 18||Free day in Kathmandu. Today, Pax have their own free time in Kathmandu for their final shopping and packing. O/N in Kathmandu|
|Day 19||Departure to final destination. Morning time is free in Kathmandu and afternoon will transfer to airport for the final destination.|
